Swimming is like a full-body workout for your dog disguised as playtime. It gets nearly every muscle moving to improve health, muscle strength, and joint flexibility without the pounding impact of walking or running. Plus, since water is more resistant than air, those muscles have to work harder - making it a fantastic way to build strength and endurance!
Exclusive use sessions at our purpose built dog pool gives up to 3 dogs freedom to explore, swim and play in the water, all in a safe and secure indoor environment.

We want every visit to be a positive and exciting experience for both you and your dog. Here’s what you can expect when you book a session:
A Warm Welcome – Our friendly team will greet you and your pup, making sure everyone feels comfortable and at ease.
Purpose-Built Pool – Our heated, clean, and fully enclosed indoor pool was designed specifically for dogs to use, ensuring a safe and enjoyable swim.
On hand Support - Our team are on hand throughout your session, monitoring and supporting you and your dog.
Personalised Sessions – Whether your pup’s a confident swimmer, a first-timer or an older dog, exclusive use of our pool ensures each session matches their needs.
Plenty of Fun – Floating toys, encouragement, and lots of splashing! If your dog is hesitant, we take things slowly and build their confidence at their own pace.
Rinse & Dry Area – After their swim, we provide a rinse station and towels, so your pup leaves feeling fresh, clean, and happy.
How It Works
Booking a session at Devon Dog Pool is simple, stress-free, and designed to give your dog the best experience possible:
1. Book Online
Use our easy online booking system to pick a date and time that works for you. We recommend booking in advance as slots fill up quickly!
2. Get Ready
When you arrive, we’ll introduce you and your dog to our facilities, answer any questions, and ensure everyone’s comfortable before entering. in the water.
First time pups will be provided a doggie life jacket for their first visit for maximum support whilst they explore our pool.
3. Enjoy
Your dog will have exclusive use of the pool during session, so they can swim, play, or simply paddle at their own pace.
Our team are on hand at every session to provide guidance, support, and plenty of encouragement.
4. Rinse & Dry
After their swim, use our rinse station to wash off any chlorine before drying them off with the towels provided. You’ll leave with a happy, tired, and satisfied pup!

You can - no need to change into your swimsuit, we provide waders for pet parents to join their dogs in the water.

It is! 1 minute of swim equates to about a 1 mile walk for your dog. We recommend a maximum of 20 minutes swimming for all pups using our facilities.

Don’t worry, this isn’t an uncommon concern. Regardless of ability, all dogs are provided a life jacket for their first visit with us, and are available for use at all visits to our pool for dogs who need a helping hand.

Devon Dog Pool is a fun and social activity for dogs, not a rehabilitation centre. As such we do not offer veterinary physiotherapy or hydrotherapy services.
